Volunteering at FITC Amsterdam!

I just got the best e-mails of the year, confirming that I’m volunteering at FITC Amsterdam this year!

This is gonna be so cool; I get to welcome people, I get to help out backstage, and I even get to introduce speakers on stage! Whoo! If you’re into Design, Technology and Cool Shit; FITC is the place to be.

But what is FITC?

According to their website (shamelessly copied and pasted); “If you were lucky enough to attend our FITC Amsterdam 2008, you know what it’s all about. If you missed it, you’re going to want to grab a ticket before they’re all gone. There is no other event quite like it. The combination of unbelievable presenters from around the globe, incredible networking opportunities, and the infamous FITC parties, all with the amazing backdrop of the city of Amsterdam, creates a stage set for the unexpected. We’ve brought back some of your favourite speakers, added a number of new ones, and we also have a few surprises up our sleeve to keep everyone on their toes. That just has cool written all over it. And they were right when they wrote this - the event is nearly sold out!

I will write another blog post upon my return of the event, and I’ll decorate it with pics and personal experiences ;) So check back soon - FITC will be held in Amsterdam on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of February.
