My new old flute
It took some TLC, but here she is, and shining, I might add!
She arrived last Thursday, in a box that was way fancier than she was… Poor thing. I immediately felt sorry for her when I opened the case she was in, that was also fancier than her. The flute had been through some tough times, or so it seemed.
screenie or it didn’t happen
As some of you might know, my brother and I have a very unhealthy relationship with the game Guitar Hero. We’ve been playing it since version 2 (on my old-skool, and very pink, Playstation 2) and we are currently at version 4 - World Tour. I play it with the World Tour hardware on my Xbox 360, my brother plays it with his Rock Band hardware on his Playstation 3. (oh how we support the industry…)
[UPDATE] New flute on the way!
[UPDATE] It has arrived! Will post some pics when I come home and start cleaning it cause this girl’s dirty! ;) I’ll keep you posted.
I got a new flute! That’s right.
Well, it’s not exactly new, but who cares about that when you fall instantly in love with one the second you lay eyes on it…
Wordle - it’s quite something
Just today, I stumbled across a cool site via a blog of a friend of mine (phirebase.com), and that site is Wordle.net.
According to Wordle; “Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.”
New design!
A mere week after the launch of winkieflash.nl, I thought it was time for a new design. The first design was uploaded by me more as a try-out, rather than a final design.
I stumbled across a good looking theme last Friday, and for me it had a lot of potential. I worked on it most of last weekend, and what you see today is the result! :)
Let me know what you think in the comments, tweet me about it, or .
-wink
[UPDATE] I’m still working out some ‘bugs’, so please hang in there - I promise I’ll have it sorted out soon :)
New mouthpiece!
It is true, but this time it’s for one of my other instruments - my Conn alto sax! And I believe that justifies the purchase ;)
