Remember when Scheepjeswol, a Dutch yarn brand, sent over some lovely Softfun yarn for me to play with? Well, play with it I have! I turned it into a new mandala design :)
I present to thee: the Butterfly Peacock Mandala. It’s built up from 4 drop-like shapes, which are combined into one lovely butterfly-inspired, peacock-coloured mandala. I’ve written down the pattern for this mandala, and it will be available on my blog soon, for free! :) How’s that for good news on your Monday? I used a 4mm hook and 7 colours of Scheepjes Softfun yarn.
For me, this is the perfect Summer mandala. We’ve been having a massive heat wave around here, which I don’t like one bit, but which did help me get inspired to make this. I’m in love – are you?
xo,
wink
ps The posts I will make for Scheepjeswol will all be bilingual (English/Dutch).
