I think I would have to make it three times, once for each of my daughters and once for me! Not sure of the yarn though... but I think likely a Lion Brand since that's what's most accessible for me :)

What a stunning cowl it's turned out perfect gorgeous colour too a fabtastic design. If I was lucky enough to winit would be pointless to make for myself as im bed ridden so don't have any need for one but I'd have lots of theraputic hours and enjoyment making the first one for my 10yr old daughter. This would keep her nice and cosy on her way to and from dance class and school she'd be a very stylish 10yr old all her friends will be asking for one as they do already so it would be a well used pattern it'd make both my two youger sisters one too so it's a good job it doesn't take long or I'd be making them all year lol.....I'd use either wendy pampas or drops Eskimo or some of the chunkys I have in my stash. I love thr colour you've chosen I've got quite a few balls in that colour. Merry Christmas xoxo

I forgot to say, I would first make one for myself, it would be lovely to be reminded of my grandmother everytime I used it. Sho was the one who first tought me to knit and crochet when I was only 5! That was when she visited us in Germany, when we lived there... I used to bring it to school in a little bag. The other kids used to think it was sweets, it was one of those little sweetbags u used to get a kids parties in the 80s! :-) I remember once some older boys coming up to me taking my bag and wanting to help themselves to sweets (I was terribly shy) The look on their face when they pulled out my little knitting project! haha!
Anyway, little sidetracked... after that I would see if anyone of my friends and family would like one knitted for them!
Thank you again for the chance to win, been keeping my eye out for a pattern since the movie, and this one is deffinately my favorite pattern for it that Ive seen!

I would make this using Patons Classic Wool Yarn, in the color "Natural Mix" because I love the muted tones, which would compliment nearly all other colors you wear. Another choice of wool I would use would be Cascade Venezia Worsted Yarn in the color "Pure Diamond." I love this brand of wool because it is a silk blend and not 'itchy.'

I would make this for my daughter, because where she lives, the winters are Long and cold.
