hook to heal

Do you have a desire to explore your creativity but also a fear of calling yourself an “artist”? Do you wish you were more creatively fulfilled but fail to take time for yourself to just create? Are there emotional issues blocking your creative side? Crochet can help! This simple and easy-to-learn craft can be used in unique ways to get in touch with your inner artist, explore and eradicate your deepest creative fears and restore balance to your personal life.

This is how Kathryn Vercillo, whom you all know from the amazing all-crochet blog Crochet Concupiscence introduces us to her new book project.

Last year she came out with her first book: Crochet Saved My Life, featuring an interview with yours truly, and it was a big hit. It was even offered for free for a whole weekend for the Kindle, and it has received many rave reviews.

Kathryn’s new project, Hook To Heal, will have three core products:

  • Creativity Exercises Book
This will teach how crochet can be used to reach mindfulness, release fear, unleash creativity and much, much more.
  • 12 Week Online Creativity Class
Set to launch this fall, there will be weekly classes with video and chat components that will help explore the Hook To Heal book and its exercises.
  • One-on-one Email Support for Crochet Creativity
You can have Kathryn to be your personal coach, to help out with any artistic and/or creative issues you might be having.

Does this sound awesome? I think so! Kathryn has a lot more information on her project on her blog here, and I highly recommend you to go over there and check it out.

Like her last book, this project is completely self-published, and as such needs a little funding. Hook To Heal is now an Indiegogo campaign, and you can support this project! With only 8 days left on the campaign she has almost reached her goal of raising $2000, and you can support this campaign with a donation as little as $1.

So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the campaign here, and support this amazing project!

PS I wasn’t asked to write this blog post, but I strongly believe in this project and everything Kathryn does for others, and I really wish it reaches its goal!
