Hello! :)
Do you ever dream of flying? I do, all the time. It is awesome.

This is the amazing art of Sarah Giannobile, called Dream Of Flying. Check out her portfolio here, or her pics on Flickr here. Oh, and she has an Etsy shop, where she sells the most amazing prints of… mandalas!
The planning:

I like it. It’s cheerful! I would definitely hang some of her art on our walls. In fact, I’m off to her Etsy shop to see if that is at all possible… ;)
Mandala made using Drops Paris cotton yarn and a 4mm Clover hook, using this free pattern.

how do you get them to be so flat? i wet mine and blocked it and it’s still wavy looking and not very pretty at all.

Hey Alyssa,
I guess it depends on what yarn + hook you are using, and if you crochet loose or tight. When done correctly, it shouldn’t need any blocking! :) What pattern are you using?

I love it! I already made two mandalas and i absolutely love them!
I tried making a spiky border on one of them, and although it looks pretty, it doesn’t look anything like the one on your banner picture… what’s the secret?

Hey Liz,
I’ll write the pattern down one of these days! :) But I think it was something like this: *1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, ch3, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc*

Very pretty, as always! I’m very impatiently waiting for my package to arrive. Will let you know when it does! (When I’m finished dancing.) :)

Are you going to do a giveaway with some of your mandalas? I think that’s a brilliant idea! Hehehe. I ended up giving 13 of mine away to people all over the globe. It was kinda fun. To think my crochet mandalas are in The Netherlands, Germany, England, and Australia is really cool. Or are you just going to keep them around to stare at yourself? I wouldn’t blame you if you did. They are all pretty in their own ways.
