pinterest finds

Hi everyone, thanks for popping by! :) I hope you’re having a great Sunday.

I’m currently working on a baby blanket for a customer (using my Groovy-ghan pattern) and I thought I’d share some of the gorgeous crochet afghans that have been roaming the Pinterest boards lately! :)

1. This adorable hearts blanket is actually a free pattern! The original is called the ‘I Love Scraps Afghan’. I think this pattern works up extremely fast by looking at the chart; perfect for those last moment baby blankets! :)

2. This one was very popular a little while ago. It’s based on a thrifted afghan, which is why it looks so retro-fabulous! Free pattern again, so get your 70′s inspired yarns out and get to it!

3. Sometimes, simple things work just as well as the complicated stuff. This blanket is made from circles-turned-squares, and calls for endless variation :)

4. And who says a simple granny square can’t be amazing? This vintage afghan found on Etsy is hypnotizing to look at! Achieved with matching colors and by the looks of it crocheted in the backloops only.

5. If you’re looking for that ultimate stash buster, this might be the pattern for you. The more color you use, the better it looks, I’m sure of it! :) Free pattern!

Alright, I’m off to work on my own baby blanket. Have a great Sunday! :)

  1. Fun stuff! I have that bottom one started in a baby blanket. It’s been sitting in a chair for at least a month with about 14 rows done. I love it and need to get back to it!

  2. Great finds. I especially love the last one. It’s gorgeous.

  3. Just realized I’ve got the hearts blanket pinned, too! :-)
